Whether you are romancing with one or rejoicing with many, the Wessex Royale Hotel & Restaurant is the perfect place to celebrate with great wines and delicious food.

The Air Conditioned Restaurant is a delightful place to sample the delicious food created by our award winning Chefs.

Our seasonal menu features some mouth-watering dishes, and is accompanied by an extensive wine list.
The menu offers a fantastic selection of starters… such as Sautéed Dorset Pigeon Breast, Honeydew Melon Topped with Cassis or Pan-Fried Mussels. We’ve got delicious main courses such as Sirloin Steak, Casserole of Local Venison or our popular Braised Rump of Lamb.
To finish, we imagine you will be tempted by our scrumptious Homemade Desserts, such as our yummy Banoffee Pie with Chocolate Sauce or our renowned Honey Crème Brûlée. Open every evening from 6pm-9.30pm.

The hotel has a popular Bar and Lounge which is the ideal place to take in Afternoon Tea, a quick coffee or a glass of your favourite beer or wine.
The Lounge’s “Bar Menu” features tasty sandwiches, and firm favourites such as Fish & Chips, Seafood Salads or Ham Egg & Chips. Food is served between 12pm & 2.30pm Monday to Saturday, but drinks are available all day.
Non Residents are Very Welcome and the Hotel offers FREE parking to diners.
